On Tuesday, September 17, late in the morning, Mr. Paolo Radici,
shareholder of Radici Group with his brothers Angelo and Maurizio, founder of
Ronco Calino, but above all father and husband, left us.
In these twenty-eight years of activity, so many of you have listened to his
story with enthusiasm, becoming, in some way, part of it.
Thanking you for the affection and closeness you have shown, we have decided to share our farewell with you.
To become a project, a dream needs care, vision and a
good deal of courage.
When these three ingredients are condensed into a single
person and are added to the ability to put the right guide at the helm, Lara, that
person can make others dream too and make them part of something great.
You, Mr. Paolo, with Ronco Calino, did not only made
us part of your realized dream, but You also opened the doors of Your home
to us.
Those who have had the privilege of spending time with You,
describe You as a discreet but kind man, with a tough nature, but only in
appearance.
Your hands, always well-groomed, in their composed
gestures, expressed an innate inclination towards others.
And what could have been mistaken for reluctance was
instead a delicate humility, capable of putting anyone at ease.
Son of a gentle upbringing, full of respect for people
and places, a lover of beautiful and good things always to be shared, his
presence, made up of few words and barely noticeable smiles, could be a refuge
and reassurance.
We want to remember You like this: Your gaze forward, if
not on the vineyards possibly on the sea, but with one foot always anchored to
the ground and a glass of Franciacorta Brut raised to the sky, while You leave
us Your most precious teaching: "Be happy and strive for making others
happy.”
Thank you, Mr. Paolo, Your guys from Ronco Calino.
