Wine Advocate: three Franciacorta Ronco Calino reviewed by the renowned magazine signed by Robert Parker

After Slow Wine, Sparkle and Wine Enthusiast, it falls on Wine Advocate to close the series of prizes and awards achieved by Ronco Calino for the 2024. 

The renowned overseas magazine, that brings the name of Robert Parker and since 1978 has been the highest authority of the wine critic, awards to three Franciacorta Ronco Calino a rating higher than 90/100:

- Franciacorta Brut n.v.: 91 points

- Franciacorta Satèn n.v.: 92 points

- Franciacorta Brut 2016: 93 points

In the tasting notes of Monica Larner, one of the most reliable pens in the world of wine and official taster for the magazine, the creamy texture is the distinctive trait of Brut Millesimato 2016, which declines itself in hints of nectarine, almond and puff pastry. The soft beading, balanced by a medium-plus acidity, has been awarded in the Satèn too, which to the nose reveals scents of stewed apple, marzipan and candied fruits. Lastly, Ronco Calino Brut surprises for substance and texture, with its unmistakable nuances of white peach and delicately toasted nut that make it our “certaince on the table”.
