Companies in the primary sector are more and more sustainable.
This
is what #AGRIcoltura100 says, the survey by Confagricoltura and Reale Mutua
Assicurazioni created in 2020 and curated by Cerved Group to evaluate the
contribution of agriculture to sustainable growth and to the relaunch of the
country.
Presented
on February 1st at the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome, in the presence of the
Minister of Agriculture Stefano Patuanelli, the heads of Reale Mutua and
Confagricoltura, and the media, the report rewards farms that, by adopting
virtuous solutions, choose sustainable production models that are strongly oriented
towards innovation.
The research analyzes agricultural enterprises according to 234 rating scale variables, assigning them an #AGRIcoltura100 index on a scale from 0 to 100, in relation to criteria of environmental and social sustainability, risk management and quality of development. 2,162 participants, 3 winners and 6 special mentions: Ronco Calino received the award for "quality of work and employment of young people". With an average age of 33 years, 50% of Ronco Calino's workforce is made up of women, and it is a virtuous example of support to professional growth and education, flexibility in reconciling family life and work, and awareness of the necessity to adopt safe behaviours. An award that fills with pride and stimulates to continue the chosen path with the ambition to do even better.
